WE HAVE A HIGHEST MISSION:
At the Tennis World Academy our Mission is creating opportunities in tennis, in education, and in life.
We focus on teaching and harnessing our core values of respect, effort and discipline. We want to develop successful young people in all aspects of life, living in a family and thriving community.
“WE ARE ACCOUNTABLE FOR OUR PLAYERS’ ACHIEVEMENTS, AND IT IS UP TO US TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEM, BOTH IN VICTORY AND DEFEAT.”
The full time training is addressed to professional tennis players. Tennis World Academy’s clear aim is to help the players reach their peak performance throughout their whole career, always paying close attention to the person and trying to pass down the sound values of tennis to the players.
Training sessions are scheduled every day, both in the morning and afternoon.
The aim of the part time section is to make boys and girls independent and aware of their features and potential in order to make their path, whatever it might be, clear and confident: the attention to attitude, inside the court and out of the court.
The part time level program includes one to five days of training (and the opportunity to be on the court on Saturday mornings), to be held in the afternoon, with physical training and tennis sessions.
The foundation for working on stroke technique begins at this stage. Technical tennis-specific terms, however, are not used with the students at this time. Instead, they are given clear, simple commands to avoid confusion and frustration. The key at this level is to encourage fun engagement, with the goal of getting the youngsters to want to come back for more. They play start playing with orange balls.
